Merle Hazard
On Sept. 11, 2012, Merle released a new, animated video for "Fiscal Cliff." Paul Solman, of the PBS NewsHour, debuted it as part of Making Sen$e.
Merle has done the occasional interview. One with the BBC World Service aired in 2010. Merle goes on at the 9 min., 30 sec. mark.
The first-and-only Nashville country artist to sing about derivatives, mortgage-backed securities, and physics.

Please do not confuse Merle with the great Merle Haggard. Aside from spelling their names differently, they do not even sing about the same things, for the most part.
